Enamoured

Enamoured is the second illustration for my Valentine's Day submission.
The theme for this piece is "A girl in love".
I wanted to keep it simple with a muted palette.
Pink is quite suitable for a girl in love, do you think so too?

Hello there :)

Here is the first illustration of 2012. It's a happy and colorful piece!

I was asked to participate in the submission for a Valentine's Day show (Wish me luck!) and here's what I came up with!


Since the theme is love, I wanted paint something fun, lively, and positive. I used acrylic, pencil, and colored pencil in this piece (sans sandpaper in a long time)

p.s.-I have been enjoying painting more than ever. I think it's a fantastic early Christmas present for me! Plus, I have an intuition, 2012 will be super busy but great for me (both illustration and personal wise!)
